Content of experiment
1. Through observing the interference figure of converging polarized light passing through the crystal, it is to understand electric field’s mechanism of action to the crystal.
2. Through applying direct voltage of different intensity to the crystal, it is to observe the light passing situations of measurement system, to run a curve between voltage and light intensity and to determine the system’s characteristic parameter.
3. Applying a sine wave signal to the crystal, it is to observe the response situation of the optical system, to understand the purpose and the meaning of setting the quiescent point, and methods and requirements of settings.
4. Using an aural signal to drive electro-optic crystal, and light modulation and transmission of analog information.
